I opened this thread with a laugh. 10 years in an all boys school. Pri 1 to Sec 4. Everyone mostly Chinese as my school is a SAP school. Racial Discrimination hah. XD

I’m Sec 3, from Maris Stella High. The transition period from Pri Sch to Sec School is definitely not easy, and normally I get dismissed from school at around 4pm. Still got homework, studying to do. Not forgetting CCAs. So distance would really be an important factor in the selection of Secondary Schools.

There are currently 5 full schools in Singapore.


Catholic High School
Maris Stella High School
CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School
Methodist Girls’ School
Singapore Chinese Girls’ School

These schools offer Pri 1 to Sec 4 and the Pri and Sec section have the same Principal and share the same campus. Discuss your views on the 5 full schools in Singapore.

Because DHS is a Sap school, only offering Chinese as its mother tongue.

Nan Hua (non-IP) and Catholic High / St Nicholas (next year IP) offer both higher and normal Chinese.
I think Hwa Chong also has some students taking \"O\" level normal Chinese in Sec 3 (subject to verification).

Maris Stella High offers a choice of HCL and Normal Chinese.

True, my school is a full school too and the traffic congestion outside is really terrible in Mornings and dismissal times. Cars cant even move at times.
