Well noobqueen, to post something more relevant, I personally think you can’t appeal to HCI with 6 points unless your CCA is really good or your DD has own academic awards in competitions like Math Olympiad, Science Olympiad etc

Not really actually, can't have been that tough since it got at least 89% passes in my school

Last year, dd and friend went to RJ open house. DD has 9A1s while friend 7A1 and i think a A2 or B3. RJ told my DD to proceed and she will get a place while telling the friend to give up trying (or something to this extend)

Uh oh... does this mean I might not be able to go to Raffles? I had a raw score of 6 points. I've deducted 2 for a pass in HCL and 2 for CCA, so my final score is 2. My results were as follows:
English- A1
HCL- C6
Combined Humanities (SS+Elective geog)- B3
Higher Music- A1
Mathematics- A1
A Maths- A1
Chemistry- A1
Biology- A1
Chinese (pu tong hua wen )- A1
I only have 7 A1s and I barely passed HCL...

That's the Enderman. It's 3 blocks tall and one of the hardest monsters to kill.
The Ghast inhabits the Nether and shoots fireballs at the player.

Hi all, I'm a student who's also an avid Minecraft player and I'd like to clear a few things up:

-Yes, there are several versions of this game. It started as a PC game and there are now versions for Apple and Android (\"Pocket Edition\"), as well as Xbox 360. PS3 and PS4 versions are in development.
-There is more to Minecraft than building. There are 2 main game modes on the PC edition, Survival and Creative. In Survival mode, the player has health and must gather resources to survive, like wood/stone to build a house. Later on, the player can go mining to find other materials like iron and make better tools. At night, monsters come out and they can hurt you, resulting in a decrease in health. If health reaches zero, the player dies.
In Creative mode, there is no health, so you cannot be killed by monsters, falling, starvation or other things that might kill you in Survival. You have infinite blocks and resources, and the ability to fly. Many players use Creative mode as a means to build large structures.
-It is possible to build machines. Redstone, one of the minerals, can be placed on the ground as wire, allowing a sort of current to be transmitted. When linked with certain objects like pistons, redstone current can make these things move.
-I think that Minecraft is addictive because there is simply so much to do! Besides the main world, there are 2 other dimensions to discover, namely The Nether and The End.
The Nether is the equivalent of Hell, and it's full of creatures that can't be found in the Overworld (the main world). You need a special portal to travel there, and gathering the material for the portal takes time so...
The End is where players face off against the game's main boss, the Ender Dragon. Once you're there, you can't get out unless you die or defeat the dragon!
Aside from that, the game is constantly evolving with updates from the folks at Mojang, so it never gets boring!
