Anyone can recommend any good home tutor for my son? He's in primary 3. Currently he's having his tuiton at Mind Stretcher but there's no punch to it...so thought of switching for home tutoring.

RE: Do you bring yr parents/inlaws for tours/travelling?
Usually we just bring my parents for holidays. Most of the time we pay for their accomodation, flights or coaches. For parents in law…never went holiday with them before. Guess they always decline and not free and have 1001 reasons so me and hubby decided just forget it. Me and my sis will take our turn to bring our parents for holiday. But most of the time its just me who will bring them for short trips. This year will bring them to Bali in December. Its kinda year end treat afterall they help to look after my son.
The sad part…sometimes my PIL will ask questions where i go with whom bla bla bla but when we ask they always say ‘its ok’ or 'dun wan’t…wat to do…haiz… sigh -
RE: Bukit Timah Primary
Hi Jeanieg
Yes, parents are allowed to be around for only 1DAY
You and spouse can hang around when they queue but we're not allowed to go to their classroom. You can wait at the canteen for their recess time at 10am. Usually they have parenting talk from 8am till 10am at the Library (not compulsory but its good to attend)
My son is currently in Pr 1 Adaptability and he's coping really well. Dun worry i was one a very very worried mom as my only child is in Primary 1 but suprisingly he survived and i can tell you only the first few days they are abit timid and blur but after a week they can have a gang of friends and play catching!
Enjoy every moment..they are growing up -
RE: Travel: Indonesia - Batam/Bintan
Hi TanKee
Bintan Lagoon Resort is slightly pricy but frankly speaking all beaches in Bintan is nice. Only Bintan Lagoon is more for golfers
Nirwana Resort are more for those with families and their pool is amazing
Mayang Sari Resort are more for those honeymoons and just those wanna getaway with their love ones..no swimming pool but you can go to Nirwana to swim at their pool as they are affiliated
Yes you can do archery, dirt buggy, table tennis and all are near Nirwana Resort. There's free shuttle to these places only for those staying at Nirwana and Mayang Sari Resort coz they are affiliated. But if you wanna stay at Bintan Lagoon i tink you can hire a buggy ride and drive yourself to the palces there. Its pretty near and you need to bring your driving licence to hire the buggy
here's the link for Bintan Lagoon Resort if you want to know more

Here's for Nirwana Resort
