Hi
I am considering between TLL and LP too. Thinking to attend the trial at TLL before deciding though the fees are really so much higher. What i found out was TLL curriculum covers current / global affairs which I thought is good exposure for the kids in the long to be aware of what’s happening in the world around them. Any idea if LP also does that?
Thanks in advance!

Hi GolferThe methodist church is only 3 hrs LESSON while PFC is 4 hr lesson.
Any feedback on the church ?
You are enrolling your kid for which level? Think 4 hours is for K1/K2? Pre-nursery is only 2 hours. But i think for other kindy, standard is 3 hours.
You be checking out the church's environment? -

Hi HongI stay north of Ang Mo Kio so I sent my kids to Toa Payoh where it is more convenient, because of the vicinity to town. After weekend class if they have behaved, we usually go for a treat at City Square.
My kids are studying here, Genius Learning Hub, if you want suggestions. You search for it on Google maps. Quite good, the kids are learning.
I think they can explain better than me why the centre is quite popular. Looking through their site, I found this article for you:

The boss and the centre manager is quite friendly but you must call during office hours, because strangely they don't have phone mail.
Thanks for the suggestion. This is more of a weekend enrichment class? Am looking for daily class in the morning actually. My kid currently in Shichida on weekend. Hv heard of LNT. Think similar approach. -

Thanks Desertwind! I guess your kid is going to Nursery and not pre-nursery since borned in the year of pig? My kid borned in the year of rat, so the pre-nursery class is very hot. Lower teacher to student ratio.surf:
Thanks a lot! Just called them. Morning class alr full + wait list. Sigh.
Dear Surf
Can I share with you I just registered my 2.5 yo son at MMK last Monday and the admin. lady told me my son got the LAST vacancy for next year! Anybody coming after him will be on waitlist!
Not to panic you but it is not easy to get vacancies at good pre-schools around AMK, Bishan, Thomson. I tried and hit so many road blocks!
Suggest you call up Learning Vision at Grassroots club to try or Patschoolhouse @ Whitley (if budget is not an issue for you). Or Kinderland at Yio Chu Kang they have 3 sessions per day!
Which year your child is in? If it is the year of the golden pig, please go search NOW!! Do not delay as my experience told me it is tough to get vacancies.
Do not be discouraged, continue looking!

Thanks for the suggestion on Learning Vision at Grassroots club and Patschoolhouse @ Whitley. But it's too far and they are full-fledged CC yah?
Yah, you are so right! Hit so many road blocks already, but hv to keep on searching lor. Am still in dilenma whethere to put in CC or Kindergarten. Managed to find a 2-hr Playgroup for my kid starting next term, so at least something to dong till I find a suitable one. -
RE: Cambridge CDC or Preschool by the park
Hi FTM
Their curriculum is the same for by-the-park centres. I hv called to check. I went early this year with a fren who’s looking for a CC then. I wld say the lady who attended to us at Li Hwan is ok, can’t remember of she’s the teacher or principal. But I wld say the environment is nice.
I recalled that their fee is slightly higher than Carmichael, may be due to the location.
Do you intend to let your girl take sch bus? Li Hwan has not bus transport arrangement i tink. Carmichael has. -
