Last week, my ds' SS teacher email us saying ds haven't submitted his family tree draft(though dateline not even near yet), of course now whole class submitted and graded. Is this draft final version, or they have to do another 'final version' family tree? How come your ds teacher not nagging at all? *scratching hair more and more these days*

dagong99, right!
Lakeside area is just all the way down commonwealth avenue west but somehow no direct bus.SweetiePieMa:
Hello everyone, my son will be in NanHua, starting Jan2012.
We stay in Lakeside area, as the school bus will come around 6-6:10am, I'm wondering if anybody who stays around this area would be interested to share cab, or if many, we could hire a van directly go from here to NH, so that our children can sleep a bit more? If so please pm me. Thanks!
Tried to contact the taxis who stay nearby as we have only 2 kids here(mine and YY1205's ds), but no taxi interested to fetch daily *sigh* , it looks like my ds has to take bus 99, not direct, bus around 14 bus stops. -

Hi YY1205, I just saw your message, my ds also get in NHPS

YY1205:
Hi all, my house quite near Lakeside MRT (3 mins walk), from \"distance\" point of view, Nanhua is closer than Nanyang to us. But seems Nanyang is much more convenient for us as just need take MRT & circle line, time spent is more firm. And we don't like the way that take MRT then transfer to bus (waiting time uncertain) to Nanhua.
Does anyone know if I apply Nanyang, this reason enough or not?
Hi YY1205, I have exactly same situation with you. Stay v near Lakeside mrt(5mins walking), our first choice also NY, second NH....
If our children are posted to same school, maybe we can find a few more kids and share cab together.. hehehh -

Just4Fun:
Just4Fun, help, this is too confusing! If I'm not wrong your dd is in that top scorer school, right? How does your dd go to school everyday, do they have school bus? Is your dd current school any of the four choices, if so, which choice and how many choices did you put in her list?Mvm:
Just to add to the confusion, my dd went from non sap all girls school to a sap co-Ed school, far away from my house :scratchhead:
My goodness, really confusion x confusion. I am so glad that I do not hv to go thr such stress. To go or not to go ( into GEP) is oreli stress. To think of which school to opt, and having nitemares while waiting for the result, this is torturing ! -

HyperKiasu:
for overscribed case like NYPS, will GE branch or the school decide who will get in? And on what basis? :? I understand somewhere that the round 2 only tell whether you are top 1% and no score is released.
If you notice top right corner, there is a number (believe is 1-566 this year), after they put in the 'current-school' GEP student in, is it possible that is the sequence they follow? Or they arrange the number by school? -

Neko:
Hello Neko, may I know which school is your DD in?:congrats: to everyone selected for GEP!
I was hesitant abt letting dd join the prog 2 yrs ago when she was selected but decided to trust her judgement. no regrets now - she loves her school, her friends (the kids in the GE classes are very close knitted), her teachers and the prog.
