      Hi,

My son is interested in the Aerospace Programme too. This should be for a selected group. How does a child get into the programme?

Would like to know more about the school too in terms of curriculum, long hours, CCAs, etc. Any information is helpful.

      Thanks!

    • RE: Normal Academic (NA) course

My son qualifies for N(A) next year. His t-score is not far from the min t-score for Express.

I was looking through assessment books between E and N(A) and saw that the same topics will be taught but definitely at a different pace.

Am I being too ambitious to buy the E ones for him to do? Pls advise. Thank you.

    • RE: De La Salle

My son just graduated from DLSS. My personal opinion - meet good dedicated teachers in P5/P6.

It was unfortunate that his FT changed at mid-year in P5. After that, things did not go smoothly for him with his FT and co-FT. They spent their time disciplining the children instead of motivating/inspiring them to achieve their potential.

All the extra classes they made the children stay back to prepare for PSLE did not help much as the sessions were mostly used to catch up for lessons not completed during normal periods.

The MT teacher was also not dedicated. Coincindentally, she was mostly sick during crucial times - a week leading up to prelims and PSLE.

I can only thank my son’s Math and MT tutors for his results. They stepped up to help him achieve his grades for PSLE.

How are the N (A) classes here? Do they push the children in their studies? Thanks!

Mine is in P4 next year. I bought the books less those not available. I opened up the Stellar Readers to see what the books were all about. Need to buy new ones in their plastic cover to hand up to the teacher when school re-opens.

Hi, I flew with Ethihad in June. Flight was at 2335Hrs & we arrived at Brisbane airport at 0915hr. Personally, flight was good, food was good, in-flight entertainment had up to date movies & loads of cartoons for kids. Return flight was at 1245hrs & touched down in Spore at 1905hrs.

I noe that if we bring food and medicine, I need to declare but where can I get the Incoming Passenger Card since mine is F&E trip, therefore no tour agent to pass it to me? Then can bring standby medicine for kids anot?

You will be given then Passenger Card on the plane. I brought fever patches & strepsils packed in checked-in luggage.
