I did make an issue why some CCA only recruit pupils who already know how to play that sport. Afterall, the pupils go to the school to learn.

Apparently this is not the case in reality.
So I gave up fighting and accept the cold hard facts of life. :roll:

Sorry to hear about that. Hope your child will find that the other CCA may not be that bad after all and learn to enjoy it. This is not new, when i was in secondary school, i remember i choose some uniform groups but was not given a CCA of my choice. I was forced into the school band having no prior knowledge of music and plus 2-3 times a week practices really scare me. But in the end i enjoy time at the band the most.

Sorry, heard a lot of different versions so just want to clarify

Based on my failing memory, p1 girls still can wear shorts on days with PE lesson. However, as they grow, it is advisable to wear the skirt over shorts on days with PE lesson. I hardly see any upper primary girls running or walking around in the school with their PE shorts.

Ok noted, as the shorts look to be made of a thick material was worried that my gal would feel discomfort having to have so many layers.
