Hey sorri, have been busy this whole week! Odessey is at blk 156 and Apples and Pencils at blk 160(both street 11), both are near to yishun and abrahim primary. Yeah…both SCs provide the showering facilities but the one at Odessey is veri cramped in my opinion! yeah…u are right, the onli plus point is that it is easier to get to the centre. I din ask odessey but apples and pencils do provide pick up svs for students in aips and yishun primary only…the rest you will have to arrrange own transport. but i understand from my friend that odessey provide pick up for aips…
but i suggest you check out both to see which one u like…
yeah i heard abt the safra one but just find it a tad too far…

RE: Yishun Primary - Student Care Centre
hey baobei06, I finally had the time to visit the 2 centres near yishun primary. I went to Odessey and Apples & Pencils SC. Well, i think after visiting the choice is pretty clear. My boy and I both prefer Apples & Pencils…the place is spacious and nicely done up…whereas odessey is actually pretty small, housed in a 3 room flat. The SC fees of Apples also include the tuition fees for all subjects and i guess the winning factor for me was realli the pick up service they provide for yishun primary students…I brought all the forms back, if there is no accident, i shld be signing up for this…

My friend just started her child at Apples & Pencils Student Care. she said that the place looks good and the schedule is quite enriching. I will probably check it out soon. Hopefully i can enrol my boy there, have visited some others and find that it is realli crowded! will post an update after checking it out

RE: Yishun Primary - Student Care Centre
Hi,
not too sure about this student care but I understand from some parents that the management is the same as that of Jiemin and Ahmad Ibrahim…not sure how true that is though. I have been to the one at ahmad ibrahim and i just find that there is a tendency for those student care centres in schools to be overcrowded. I will be visiting the two student care located outside of the schools, heard they provide pickup service for the yishun students. will be checking them out and will post an update if you are interested!
