You are more than welcome to join us for the BBQ, with or without tempura. We share tips like which tuition Ctr is good, what books are suitable for our kids etc; not necessarily talk only about sch's stuff.

I believe that parents play a big role in our kids' education. If we work closely [and intelligently] with our kids, the impact will start to show after 1 mth; and it'll be obvious after 1 yr.

I mean how much attention can a T overseeing 2 classes or more give to each pupil? But as parents we can give the all them attention in the world.

Guess what I'm trying to say is as long as we ensure that our kids don't end up in an ah-beng sch [BT and BV are good schs too], they will surely do well with our guidance. Conversely, without our help, it'll be more challenging for them to do well even if they're in a top sch.

i totally agree what you say. We as a parents really play an important role to our children. I'm just lucky that i'm a SAHM and able to spend more quality time with my DS

Tempura, hope to see u in this thread regularly. Don't lose hope. The wait list this year is shorter than last year's. So if previous forumers got a place, you can too! Remember to renew and check with the school regularly.

thanks alot for the encouragement. i heard its entirely up to the principal to choose who to admit if there's any vacancy available. Let's see how.

Plan for the next step but don't give up hope. All this not lost.

XYZ1's ds got in via waitlist in Dec, IJJ's dd via transfer at P2 and Jennifer's ds via transfer at P3 I think.
