      Hi Tenten

where is the best place to buy Besta All Pass?

      Hi ciaobella,

Sorry if this is too late. I got mine from Popular, $49.90 no change from the last time.

The promoter told me that the fact that I change once every year considered lucky already, some change every few months! :faint:

I bought the latest Creative two years ago, batteries leaked so replaced with latest Besta All Pass 2 but screen cracked and dd claimed she didn't know how. It was in its provided casing and it's usually in her school bag, never in a pocket.

Looks like it's an annual purchase for me!

      Hi moshi,

I am also a Catholic who went in via Phase 2B. There is no need for a church affiliation if your child has a Catholic baptism cert to show.
Hope this helps? Best of luck.

      moshi:
I understand as a catholic and within 1km the phase is 2B. On the MOE website however, it says that we must be endorsed by the church that is affiliated with the school. Which church is affiliated with Holy Innocents'? Do I have to get the endorsement or is being catholic sufficient enough? thanks in advance!

      Hi InP,

Looks like your child is in the same class as mine this year, 4I4?
Yes, it is disturbing that she has a rather long school schedule this year, and I can't fit in any tuition for her on weekdays. She does enjoy the enrichment classes, thus, do not feel the need to pull her out. She also gets a large amount of homework everyday, which at times, due to her lack of speed 😢 can eat into her bedtime.

      InP:
Hi, my child was in P3 last year and she has to attend enrichment classes on Monday (Eng and Sci), Tues (Chinese Supplementary) and Friday (maths). This year, with broadbase program on Wednesday, and enrichment / supplementary classes 4 days a week, she does have to stay till 3.05pm every day. On CCA days, they will stay till 5.30pm.
I had spoken to the P3 teacher about withdrawing her from the enrichment classes and the teacher had confirmed that there are students who opt out. In the end, we continued the classes as my child enjoyed the science experiments and maths activities done during these classes. She does not have outside tuition so, we were happy to let her spend more time in school.
Chinese supplementary classes are compulsory as decreed by MOE for HCL, so no opting out.

That said, I have an older child in HIPS who was never requested to stay back for any remedial or enrichment classes except for in his P6 year.

      SAHMummy:
This yr only 1 strong class. I thought there will be at least 2 classes each yr.

I can't speak for all levels but for P3 2013, there was only 1 strong class, 3G4 going on to 2014 as 4I4.

However, from the prize giving ceremony, it was obvious the 2013 P4 had 1 dominant class (4I7), the P5 had 1 dominant class (5SD6) and likewise for P6 (6R7). These classes swept most of the prizes for academic excellence.
