I am an independent educator whom has taught Chinese Language for 10 years in both public and private schools.

I have just joined this forum and came across this thread, will like to point out that having substantial 1 to 1 practices with proper grading, comment and feedback on area for improvement is also important in helping learners to perform competently in the oral examination.

This is because learner’s grade in this examination is based on a set of standardised rubrics which determines their grade. It will help if the practice is done with someone whom knows the rubrics and conduct the examination before. For example NIE trained MOE teachers.
