May I check how can I find out if we are still allowed to register during Phase 2A2 with a confirm seating & later withdraw during Phase 2C to register at a school that’s within 1km of our address?

Heard from a friend that he was unable to do that during last year registration & missed his confirmed chance @ RGPS during Phase 2C as he registered his DD during phase 2A with a confirm seating already.
