mmm that's interesting, so each level the top classes differs???....

      Erh.... not too sure dudette.

If I am not mistaken... P3-2013 goes into P4-2014 staying in the same class. So in this case, the top classes in P3-2013 and P4-2013 \"technically\" remain the same. There will be streaming for P4-2014 going on to P5-2015.

Wonder if Ms Pang will change the promotion guidelines for P3-2014 going on to P4-2015 (meaning start streaming at each level from P2).

I guess fine line between how much we want our girls to be in the top 2 classes (loaded with tuitions) vs giving them a childhood. šŸ˜“

Anyone's in P3 next year? Which class your girl is assign to and base on what criteria? Care to share? My girl in 3 Joy.

      Thank you
      Hihi

There are 6 classes; Charity, Devotion, Grace, Joy, Kindness and Patience.

The top 2 classes for P3 in 2014 are Charity and Devotion.
It is NOT Charity #1 and Devotion #2. The top 76 students from P2 (2013) based on English and Math get posted to Charity and Devotion, (good mixed and not first 36 in Charity and next 36 in Devotion).

Rest of the cohort gets mixed in the remaining 4 classes.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers

Referring to the same Lab but was talking more about a full page ad taken out by the Lab showcasing 3 alumni who topped the PSLE in various years. So the question is do we want our DDs to join the \"rat\" race cuz the peer pressure/influence on parents are very real indeed.

Just got info from my DD's form teacher this morning. Parents to be in the school by 6pm. Kids allowed.

wah lau.... trying our best NOT to be KS and to let our DD have a carefree, normal childhood. That's why we chose SMPS.... then I saw a full page ad in The Business Times today by The Learning Lab.... :scared: :yikes: :faint:  . That's some serious money to burn on advertisment.

Now I am wondering what's normal and what's carefree :? :scratchhead: :frustrated: :slapshead:

      sigh....
