    • RE: Home piano lesson

I just posted in another thread, but my sisters who are gifted in the violin, piano and flute are now taking new students since they freed some slots up. I know it's probably been discussed a lot here, but the teacher and their methods make all the difference! If you're looking for an inspiring teacher who isn't all about learning by rote and going by the book, but encourages your budding maestro to really listen to the music and find their own way, I've got two great teachers to recommend. They both have licentiates in the instruments they teach, and have both trained with renowned international musicians over the years. Both of them are gifted in music performance, music night is always a joy where we live. Contact me for their contact numbers if you need!

      Cheers! 🙂

    • RE: Recommendations for Flute, Violin, Piano tuition :)

Ahhh the joys of the wonderful world of music! It must run in our family somehow, my sisters are gifted in the violin, piano and flute. I know it’s probably been discussed a lot here, but the teacher and their methods make all the difference! If you’re looking for an inspiring teacher who isn’t all about learning by rote and going by the book, but encourages your budding maestro to really listen to the music and find their own way, I’ve got two great teachers to recommend.

Music schools here are sometimes wildly disappointing and stifling, as my sisters have personally felt from teaching there. They’ve both since stopped teaching in schools after seeing management that is more focussed on multiplying students rather than multiplying talent.

So here goes… They’ve both just freed some slots up, and are taking new students for flute, violin and piano. They both have licentiates in these instruments, and have both trained with renowned international musicians over the years. They are familiar with ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses and taught MEP students as well. Both of them are gifted in music performance, music night is always a joy where we live. Contact me for their contact numbers if you need!

      Cheers!

    • RE: All About Choosing Piano Schools And Teachers

Hi, I hv zero music background myself. Am looking for a piano teacher for my 9yo DD. Been recommended 2 teachers (both more than 15years teaching experience) and they quoted me S$80/lesson for 45mins for coming to my place in Bt Timah. Does it make sense to pay this fee for beginner level?

Do see my reply to Sabrina too 🙂 Cheers ladies!

Hi, I am looking for a piano teacher in the West - between Bukit Batok to Dover Road. to teach my daughter who is 8yo and in beginner's level. She can only attend weekend classes. If you have someone to recommend, please email me. Thanks 🙂 [email protected]

      Hi Sabrina 🙂

My sister is accepting new students now, and teaches in your area on Sundays. She is a higher-level music teacher specialized in the violin and piano, with licentiates for both these instruments, and has trained with renowned pianists and violinists. Do PM me if you would like more info 🙂 Getting started with the right teacher is always important, especially for a budding talent just starting out!

      Cheers!
