Coming from Botanic Gardens mrt(Downtown line), is Tan Kah Kee MRT station the nearest to go to NJC side gate ? Still need to take bus ? How many stops away to cross the overhead bridge to the side gate ?

Thanks. She is more interested in 1st 3 choices. Is our last choice safe ? Not sure if should put another lower COP school just in case ?thscat\" post_id=\"1949449\" time=\"1574724679\" user_id=\"123148:RGS not happening im afraid. The cop will prob go up +2 or +3.
She is through to NJC no issues.
However i would put MGS as 2nd choice if u r serious about it....may have a chance. Though i suspect mgs cop for 2020 year 1 could be 259 +1 from this year.
Good luck -

RE: National Junior College (Junior High)
Received NJC DSA STEM domain invitation for Selection test round 1. It mentioned non-subject based test. Any helpful seniors parents can help to share what can we expect in the test ? Not that we can or should prepare but don’t want too much shock to my kid ! Thanks in advance !

RE: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' Secondary
Hi,
Does anyone know how many IP and O level class for Sec. 1 next year ?
Are there significantly different between IP and O other than one is 6 yrs and another is 4 yrs ? I mean in terms of classes, teaching, child development ?
Will the O level classes student feels "inferior" or even treated as "2nd class" in the school ? -
RE: Cut Off Point Reporting for 2015 Secondary 1 Posting

Hi,
I have different questions. My girl is a overseas returning student for Sec.1 2015 and took the MOE SPERs test. She was given list of eligible schools (including some of the popular schools) to choose a list of 6 choices. We are staying at Yio Chu Kang.
1) 1st Choice : CHIJ St Nic Vs RGS. I prefer RGS but my wife is concerned about the distance from YCK. Will there be any school bus from YCK for RGS ? If the journey is too far, will be too tiring for her ? Especially on some CCA days ?
2) RGS is IP system whereas for CHIJ St Nic, she will be eligible for "O" track only.
Any suggestions which is better choice for 1st Choice ? thanks !
She was not offered st nick ip?
Only NYGS and RGS are IP for her. For other such as MGS, St Nick with both "O" and "IP" track, she is only offered "O" level. I wonder could it be those IP places have already been taken up during the DSA phase ?
Then its a straight choice if you prefer ip or o level track…
St Nic is very near our house and would be obvious choice and my girl went to the open house today and was very impressed with the school.
But would distance be an major concern ? We have another girl studying in another school in Toa Payoh in P2. If we were to drive both of them to their respective schools at 2 different locations and not be late, I wonder how the logistic going to be like ?
I prefer RGS and IP still…tough decision -
