Hi Barney. sorry i offered stale opinion. Anyway, good u landed a place in Elias Park. Its pretty good school in Pasir Ris Estate. Btw, me a bit surprised that Poi Ching is so hot this year.
I side track abit. Chief Kiasu, can i ask for your opinion on the relative performance of the 3 schools - Poi Ching, Gong Shang and Pasir Ris Primary? I am not looking at the no of top PSLE students generated, but rather sentiments at the ground on the relative performance of the 3 schools? If not, confining to your opinion, what is your take on the 3 schools?

RE: [Pasir Ris] Primary Schools
Hi Barney,
I am far from an expert as I have just joined this forum. As far as i know, based on the hear say in pasir ris estate, Elias Park is rated 3rd in the area. Poi Ching has a history of 1- 2km balloting practice.. Personally, i cant imagine the situation of being not selected in phase 2C.
Its pretty tricky. I will not take the risk of Poi Ching if i were you. Can you possibly PV at Poi Ching? That will be best... Have you considered Gong Shang? Hearsay is Gong Shang takes in more PVs. -

Thanks alot, amylqf. It is certainly very nice to hear from you so soon.
I had been very attracted by Poi Ching's SAP set up. I guess accessibility is one very important consideration. Worthy point raised. Thanks!

Hi amylqf,
Congrats you got into Poi Ching for Phase 2B.
I need a second opinion. I am pretty torn between Poi Ching and Gong Shang. Gong Shang is nearer and I have a direct public bus there, though still not within 1km. Either way, my kid would be taking school bus.
Do you have any idea what is the relative performance of the 2 schools? Me trying for next round of PV. Chief Kiasu can advise too?
