tachyon_jay:Nothing on HCI web too...nothing on RI's FB or website at the moment.Renz:yes, Report book and Results slip.
check your school's FB page or website for exact requirement.
and report in Pri sch uniform too!
Do they have instagram ?
nms1:The problem is we are left with too little time to prepare for Sec 1.....opens in a week's time!MArVeLIciOUS:I have always wondered why MOE takes more than a month to publish the Sec 1 posting results. Any computer can churn out the results in an instant......
It doesn't take that long, they just don't want us to have time to appeal.
ArcherQueen:Yup!timtim, Thanks for sharing. :thankyou:
They don't use ABCD to name the classes already right?
anxious.dad:Ya, really nonsense to suggest added to decimal...my god, if so, why waste the effort to torture oneself by taking on one more paper...LOL.This is definitely false. The HMT bonus point is added to the t-score, a t-score of 249+2 will be considered as 251 when applying to a SAP school.Imp75:is it official that HMT +1 +2 +3 does not add to T score (only add to decimal places) for SAP schools?
I heard this from the pri sch HMT tchr too but that wasn't what we all thought it was.
nicnac:Always the case...nowadays kids really have a mind of their own...they just want what they want, no nego.We have not made our choices yet.
DD's first choice is about 45mins away on a smooth traffic. DH's preferred choice is about 15mins away.
I am torn between the 2.
Finally submitted last night after much deliberation with my son…LOL, we didn’t visit any school at all. Purely based on public info, 6th sense and distance considerations (try to keep below an hour travel by MRT/Bus). Thought only 1 chance, didn’t know can have 1 more edition allowed before 30 Nov 3pm.
ArcherQueen:Hi, can you advice the class placement of the students? You mentioned 6B is TOP class, then what is the next after 6B and so on? Thanks :)
6B, 6A, 6C and so on (it used to be D being the weakest class but not anymore)...the reason why 6B becomes the top class has to do with HMT as all students in 6B took only HCL, while 6A is mixed. The cut-off for B class is 350/400 overall P4 performance during my son's year. In any case, under the new P, such arrangement of arranging classes by academic ability is no more but more of a mixed ability classes from what I understand and it started at P3.timtim:
Can someone please share how Nan Chiau did for this year psle? How many score above 250? Average score and highest score? Thanks
64 students scored above 250, which is about 20%. Out of this 64, 40 comes from Class 6B (supposedly top class) with a strength of 44. There is no average score shared by school. For 6B, highest we know is T-score 275.
Overall, there were 3 with 5A*, 10 with 4A* and 22 with 3A*, guess Distinction for HMT is considered 1 A*, else not sure why there could be 5...LOL.
