Hi, any recent reviews on GuG? Noticed that there's a change in principal last few months, and some recent mixed reviews on fb... do u guys find GuG is still as good as past reviews mentioned here?
      Hi Maxo97,

So far I still feel is worthwhile to have my kids in GUG. Curriculum is strong. Parents Teachers App is still good for communication. They control the covid situation well. My kids still tell me they love going to school and school is fun! I think when kids say that, you know the school is great! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi mummies, any new updates on GUG tampines? I intend to send my boy to Playground when he turns 18months but am unsure which school he should join.
      Hi Chirye,

I have sent my kids all to GUG Tampines. And have seen them grown a lot in there. The teachers and staff have handled covid situation pretty well.

They have low teacher-student ratio. Their curriculum is quite good where they focused in phonics, enabling kids to read and write at very young age.

I can share with you more and have replied your pm regarding referral code.

Hi im interested to enrol my child in gug. Can anyone share the referral code?

May i check how much is the sibling discount?

      Is there school bus service?[/quote]
      Hi Angela,

I have PM you on the referral program. Sibling discount is 10% off the elder school fee

Last year they are collating interests to call for private bus service. I am unsure if it has been implemented, you may want to check with school directly

GUG usually serves cereal or tuna sandwiches or jam on brown rice puffed cakes or wholemeal bread or eggs. These are served with milk or fruit juice. The kids can ask for more if not enough. Breakfast time is 8.30am-9am but also strictly half hour during this timing only as they want to cultivate routine and time management

      Hi Parents,
How is the curriculum at GUG? Iโ€™ve read through their website and seen their facilities which look impressive but Iโ€™m wondering if the delivery of their curriculum is standardised across branches? (The Thomson branch should be the main branch?) Also, what is the typical schedule for an N1 child and what is served for their meals? My childโ€™s current CC provides the same bun every morning. Thanks in advance!
      Hi Squeakles,

It seems that the curriculum is similar throughout branches. We are with the Tampines branch. My child when in playgroup is already having phonics incorporated into their play. And yes, their play are with purpose. They used play-based and song-based to engage the children in activities. Even each of their song is a meaningful one.

Each level will go outdoor once a week and has water play once a week as well (on different days).

Their meal are different everyday though they may rotate for the next month. Some of their breakfast items are cereals, raisin bread, sandwiches, etc.

Feel free to approach me if there is anything you want to understand better or even the rebate program.

any parents got reviews for GUG tampines branch? planning to enrol my child with them. Thanks a million
      Hi itsmeperry,

My child has been with GUG Tampines since mid last year. The classrooms are proper classrooms with heavy furnitures like cupboard, shoe shelves, bookshelves as built-in. Teacher-student ratio is quite low, around 2:7 currently.

Their curriculum have their well-known enrichment programs already incorporated. Teachers are patient and takes in feedback openly. Principal is approachable and children of the teachers and principal are even enrolled with the school. Love their app where we could communicate with the teachers and even principal directly, know upcoming events, and there is a weekly update of your child with photos doing different kind of activities in school. So far my child likes the school, enjoy interacting with classmates and teachers there.

Heard that there is a CNY open house and there will be savings ofย upย to $5,000. They have a referral program where you can get further $200 rebate.

Let me know if you need more info.
