Thanks Ylk for sharing about Loyang.

I saw 9 years full passing PSLE rate but was quick to see only 2010, and 2011 breakdown posted online. Now I see it again, 9 years from 2005, mean which is up to date. Sorry.

One more day to go. I cannot decide Loyang Pri, Whitesands Pri or Casuarina Pri. Each has it own strengths. Loyang - friendly community. Whitesands - New facility building. Casuarina - attractive CCAs. Does anyone has same dilemma? and which school ?

Thanks all for the clarifications on ACSP.

Anything can really happen at the eleventh hour. Quadruplets! :grphug:
Never thought of this. Now three 2C vacancies lesser. This is like \"now you see, and now you don't\" :siam:

    • RE: 2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take

I am confused. Any idea why MOE posted ACSP 35 applicants vs 32 vacancies for 2B, but on 23/7 ballot updates say,

"The school only has places for SC children residing within 2km of the school in this phase. No balloting will be conducted."

what happen to the extra 3 applicants? or does it mean all 35 get in despite there are only 32 vacancies?

May I have a quick question?

For P2C, am I right to say that Singapore Citizen and Singapore PR can apply.
if so, does it mean that if applicants is more than vacancies offered, SC is given priority according to <1km, 1-2km and outside 2Km before remaining vacancy given to PR according to distance like SC?

      example 1
if vacancies is 20 and 26 applicants
      15 are SC , 11 are PRs
All SC will be in before the 11 PRs...11PRs will enrol based on distance.

      example 2
if vacancies is 20 and 26 applicants
      24 are SC, 2PRs

      6 SC<1km
      4 SC within 1-2km
      14 +2PRs >2km

in this case 10 SC(6+4) will be in according to distance and 14 SC>2km will ballot for the remain 10 seats. PRs have no chance to ballot.

      Thanks for the clear explanation.
Any idea if there is any website that show the breakdown of each phrase like Nanhua Pri?

    • RE: [Pasir Ris] Primary Schools

Many are telling me that Loyang Primary school is one of the better one in Pasir Ris. All three CCAs options are quite similar, and they do not have much of academic achievements in 2013. But why is take up rate is lower than Whitesands Primary and Pasir Ris Primary. Any insights about whitesands and Pasir Ris over Loyang?

    • RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

Hi, based on the new 40 places given to P2B & P2C, I need some advises on the priorities on school selections/area which may stand higher chance to enrol, cos my child will be under P2C in all situations for coming July P1 registration. The only school within 1km to our main home is, White Sands Primary (which I am not so favorable to enrol).

Other alternatives that we can to move are:-
Novena - ACS (Junior), St Joseph’s
Bishan - Ai Tong, Catholic High
Marine Parade - Tao Nan, Ngee Ann, Tanjong Katong Pri

      Thanks.
