Can anyone kindly advise if it’s tough to take biology and geography together for A levels?

Is yr child thinking of choosing BCMG ?
Unless H1 Geog, which is only 1/2 the content of H2 Geog…

Yes, she is thinking of choosing BCMG, all H2s. Thanks.
I know a senior who did BCMG, all H2s and got B for Biology in A level. This is unexpected as she was very very hard working and got a GPA of 3.7-3.8 back in RGS. I personally don’t recommend your daughter to take Biology and Geography together, unless if she finds it easy to remember the content for either Biology or Geography. While Biology is about remembering keywords and explaining them in a precise, succinct way (I was from Bio RA), from what I have heard from my friends, you know to remember every single word for Geography.

Leaving all these cautionary notes aside, some people say that it’s all about the interest of the students at the end of the day. If your daughter is really interested in these two subjects, and she has the perseverance, then why not? Each individual is different, some people can cope, some can’t.
