im planning a trip to TW in Nov ( depart either 21,22 or 23) plan to spend 8,9 days


have checked all the major tour operators (chan bros around $1700, dynasty ard $1500, hong thai ard $1600, Namho ard $1570, Jun-air (by scoot) $1300. besides jun-air, the rest all fly full serv airline (SQ, CA or eva)

3 or us, 2A+1C, i think spending total $5k going to TW is a bit pricy. only Jun-air around $4k since it's fly by scoot, but hubby not so sure, 1st about jun-air (he said never heard before...) 2nd Scoot is known to have flight delay or cancellation...

am thinking to do F&E, thinking to cover alishan, toroko(if possible), CJ, hotspring, jiufen & surrounding..

can anyone share their itinerary please? thanks.

Just to share with you my itinerary...
1st day arriving Taoyuan, we will head to Taichung.
Engaged driver for 4 days tour to Alishan, Sun Moon Lake, Cingjing and Hualien from 17th Nov till 20th Nov... Quoted TWD 18,000. Accomodation, we have to book ourself... so far, all my accomodations is booked... left Hualien...
from 21st Nov onwards, will be Free and easy at Taipei..

any minsu recomendation for alishan, sun moon lake and hualian?

any recomendation on minsu at cingjing? im thinking of star villa . was quoted TWD 3,850 for 4 persons room… any comments on star villa? still looking for alternative…

Tomyum, it depends on what type of car & where will the driver be picking you up.

2nd day early morning, the driver will pick me up from the hotel and will start the journey....

I will be travelling to taiwan in Nov… below are the places that im planning to cover…


1day - taoyuan to taichung, stay 1 night…
2 & 3rd day - taichung to alishan… (2 nights)
4th & 5th day - alishan to cinjing (stay at starry minshu) …
6th & 7th day - cinjing to hualian (will hire a driver)
8days - hualian to taipei…

As bove itenary, is my the route that ive planned is in sequence? Hope to receive feedback… thanks.
