RE: Q&A - PSLE Science
Due to Covid19, probably most kids did not take their SA1 test before the HBL started. For those kids who took the test, it wont be surprised that parents could be be shocked by their SA1 result, typically kids scored poorly at the Open Ended question. How hard to construct a good answer for OEQ? Even answer keys from those top school paper, exercise book and even past year PLSE paper are not reliable.
Do you want to help your kid on their OEQ part?

For the Q19 question about energy conversion of solar torch, the answer should be 3). There are 2 important information here: 1-“store in a cell”, this means the solar energy was converted electrical energy then converted to chemical potential energy of the cell first even switch is not on. 2- “when the torch is switched on”. It refers to close circuit , cell will provide CPE->EE->LE +HE which is (3)

I have confirmed with teacher, that magnet can only be made of magnetic material in primary science.
This Q2 seems not set properly.
Magnet should be made of magnetic material. So (2) and (3) are both correct. Is my understanding correct?
