HiHi. Are you year 1 mums/dads going to the camp fire tomorrow night?
-
RE: Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) [*IP]
Mine is in year 4 too. Eliminating their "distractions" is like cutting one limb off them. Year 4 liao, quite difficult. Year 1 mums, better set the boundaries now!

Yes, yes! Ha ha, my dd has finally mastered the art of sleeping anytime, anywhere this year… one of the essential skills of a true blue RG girl.
Sleeping at 10, 10.30 becomes a luxury the night before a PT is due.
Do you mums feel obliged to stay up late to keep your girls company? -
RE: Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) [*IP]
Bedtime of 10 to 10.30 pm may seem quite alright but if one were to wake up at 6 am, it works out to be only 8 hours of sleep…for a child of 12 plus is too little!!
Thanks to the seniors’ confirmation here, I long suspect the social scene comes alive after the parents have gone to bed. As the years go by, the "night party" online becomes more and more interesting, right? -

May I ask how late do your girls sleep every night ? When my dd was in year 1, her sleeping time was constantly a subject of disagreement between us. I always wonder what percentage of her sleeping late habit is due to RGS culture and what percentage is owing to their teenage years ( some say teenage brains are not structured to sleep early??!!)

Hi mums
Read these 2 quotations on RG CCA board some 2 weeks ago and would like to share with you:
"The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything"
"You can’t control what happens to you. But you can control your response to what happens to you"
