Any parent know what is the top score for this yearโ€™s psle cohort?

269+3. The school standard has dropped.

      What is +3?

I am hearing conflicting news. Some say top score is 266, forum says 270.

hi, my DS will be starting P1 next yr.

i would like to ask if it is compulsory for pupils to wear lace shoes and with NCPS shoes laces? DS very small size and the shoes sold during orientation are too big for him. i wanted to buy from bata, those velcro type, will be shopping for it this wkend.

      re: phonics camp
i signed up DS for it. HB and i tot since he is not taking any eng enrichment so let him go. plus i or my mum will be able to do all the fetching. hope that he will benefit from it.

having some mixed feelings abt starting P1 next yr... ... hope he will be able to adjust. i am the typical \"gan jiong spider\" mother.:P

thanks all.... hope to learn from all of you!!!

      Hi Dombry,

I check with the staff from General Office about velcro shoes. The lady say it's ok to wear them. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope this information helps.

      Hi Larkspur,

I also noticed my DD's class size is quite small. Heard from my colleagues, the classes will combine to form bigger class in P3. ๐Ÿ™‚

anyone can advise is the 10 days workshop for Phonics and Han Yu Pin Yin useful? Thinking of to register my kid to the workshop or not.

DS didn't attend but he is a strong reader for English. However, no problem w HYPY in P1 even tho his PCF didn't teach any.

We don't intend to send my dd... ๐Ÿ™‚ just sharing.

      Hi ectanz,

The last time i went to bata at compass point, they don't carry black shoes with lace. ๐Ÿ˜ž

      Hi
I just went to bata and saw black shoes with lace(brand:Northstar) $29.95.
      School selling (brand:checker) $15.50
      Better buy at school. ๐Ÿ˜„

      Hi smurf28,

Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚ we bought one without lace last month for her graduation photo cos we couldn't find the lace one. Sigh....

Personally, I think we have to instil the right mind-set & attitudes into our kids that no matter which teacher & what subject, regardless of whether we like or dislike the teaching method (as long as it's not abusive), the kids have to pay attention & clarify doubts in class, do the work (even ็ฌ”่ฎฐ that is not graded) diligently as a form of respect to the teachers & adapt themselves w the various teaching methods while trying their best to meet teachers' requirements & expectations. Else, they would not b able to fully utilise the resources given, be it the best or not. JMHO.

I totally agree with u. :). Always tell my children must respect the teachers and do their work diligently.
