      No of posts on each semicirlce=31+2=33

      Check: No of posts of each length =31+26+2=59
      59-1=58
      58x45=2610 cm
      Perimeter of the figure=1440+1440+2610+2610=8100cm

      Hi, pls help another qtn, thanks.

      Beaker x and y contain some water. If 50ml of water is transferred from beaker x to beaker y, there will be 3/7 as much water in beaker x as in beaker y, if 100ml of waer is transferred from beaker y to beaker x, there will be 4 times as much waer in beaker x as in beaker y. How much water is there in beaker y?

      Pls kindly help the above qtn, TIA!

      This double \"if\" question, the total amount of water are the same
      X.............Y......Total
      3u.............7u....10u
      +50.........-50................(reverse the 1st if)
      +100........-100..............(execute the 2nd if).
      8u.............2u.....10u

      Y:....7u-2u=5u-->50+150=150
      so 1u=150/5=30

      Amount of water in beaker Y=7u-50
      ......................................=7x30-50
      ......................................=210-50=160

      sorry, 1 more question

      at 8.30am, Ann left city A for City B, travelling at a constant speed. sarah left 1 hr later, travelling the same route. Sarah overtook Ann at 12.30pm. Sarah travelled at 18km/h faster than Ann. what is the speed of Ann?

      i understand that every 1 hr sarah travels, she is 18km more than Ann
      so i take 18 x 3hr = 54km

      ...after that i am stuck 😞
      City A............................................City B
      A____|..1hr.....|.......3hr.................|
      S____|....................3h..................|
      .......|............|<----equal distance--->|
      Sarah took 3hrs to overtake Ann, she will have travelled 3x18=54km longer than Ann. From the above diagram, the distance travelled by Ann for the 1st hour will be 54km.
      Speed of Ann=54/1=54km/h

      at 0700hr, Cindy cycled from Town X to Town Y at an average speed of 16km/h. 3/4 hour later, Rella cycled from Town Y to Town X at an average speed of 24km/h. both of them reached their respective destinations at the same time. what was the time taken for Cindy to tracvel from Town X to Town Y?

      Hansel and Gretal cycled from Cake city to sweet city at 11km/h and 8km/h respectively. Hansel left cake city an hour later than Gretal. he arrived at Sweet city 1/2 hour earlier than Gretal. how long did Hansel take?
