Hi, just want to clarify does the 30-month ruling still applicable for those who registered in school that is undersubscribed, ie. vacancies > applicants?

Excited for those who needs balloting tomorrow. All the best to all and for those unfortunate ones, all the best to getting into your choice of school in 2CS. I would leave it to fate and see it as if my child is not balloted in to my sch of choice, it simply means something/somehow/somewhat has been arranged for him/her to shine elsewhere. Believe that you can nurture your child, bring out their best and they will shine regardless which school they were in. I ask myself, would I want my child to be the last few in class always in a top/popular school or be among the top few in class in a neighbourhood/unpopular school? A bit of self consolation here. But it's a half full and half empty glass/small fish big pond and vice versa situation here. Just be mentally prepared and all the best to all tomorrow.

St Anthony is balloting at 9am.

Final result of 2C - 87 SC within 1km balloting for 77 vacancies. The school mentioned they have informed all parents 1-2km to withdraw, but somehow 2 applicants did not manage/bother to withdraw.

Hi tsuele , I am within 1 km but they still called me and ask If I wanna withdraw my application. I told them to go ahead with the balloting. Hi, I called the school at 5.15pm today. The admin staff who picked up my calls said she did not have the breakdown of the stats. However she said end of Day 1 is balloting for SC between 1-2km.

Hi david, I just called SAPS. The admin said now end of Day 1 stats is balloting for SC 1-2km. She does not have the exact number breakdown. So can confirm the number of applicants are more than 76 vacancies.
