Hi I’m currently a upper sec student from SJC but I’m quite sure parents are quite concerned about letting their children enter this school. I would say I really enjoyed my 3 years here! although the facilities there are only alright. There is night study for upper sec students to attend every week and there’s even a new study room for students to study there after school. Phone usage is prohibited in school unless its the has ended. We have a new principal this year actually. Our school is quite good with English although most students might even be failing it cause the mark scheme is strict but you’ll definitely see better results at O’s. Biology is also one our stronger subjects. The teachers are really kind and don’t mind consultations after school. There’s open house every year after getting back PSLE grades (at least for me) for people to see the school and get to know the school a bit more like the results. When i received my PSLE score i was really sad cause i definitely could not get into st. nicholas so i did some research and found sjc. Although the school campus isn’t big but i guess it gives off a feeling of a second home? I guess that was the main reason I chose this school over st. theresa.
