I would think the answer is B also. They don’t even know the density formula. Plus it is the material and the size of the object that matter…not the weight. So the 3 objects are drawn in the same size and the only difference that makes it sink and float is the material.

There was one question that my girl and her friend got different answers. The MCQ question was about three solids X, Y, Z.

      Two statements were given:
      A. The material making solids X and Y is the same
      B. The materials making Y and Z were different

Which of the statement(s) could be concluded from the above experiment?

      1). Both A and B
      2). B only
      3). A only
      4). Neither A nor B

B, as Y and Z is definitely different in density given both are solid.
X and Y can be same material or different material, no way to tell with this experiment hence statement is in correct

I need advice on supplementary intake exercise. My son had successfully gone through first round but failed second round. May I know what is the cut off points for last year? I learned there’s still an interview for this SIE, so even if you got a high t score you might not get in if you cannot perform during interview? My child got a co from another school but he is thinking of forgoing that co. We are in dilemma.

Is there any moderation for subject grade? Or it must be above 90 to get an A*? Any info from moe website? As I heard it is strictly base on raw score…no moderation at all regardless of the difficulty of paper

[quote="hazeline"]Is it 朋友? My boy told me that it’s 这件事让我从新认识了他. So he didn’t write a friend.

I think got 朋友 because my boy was arguing with his friends whether this 朋友should be friend right from the start or later become friends. Anyway nothing much can be done now.

" would you mind turning off the fan, please?" to indirect speech?

She asked me to turn the fan off.
I think no need to write would you mind.
