If in your shoes, I will offer the increment and hope that she stays. New maids do not come much cheaper either. And really a known 'evil' is better then and unknown one.

yes agreed, if you are ok with the current one, jus giv her increment and hope she will stay. i hav encounter bad experiences in changing maids..in the end we are the one tat suffers..
