concerned_mum:Any1 has comments on MPM chong pang & sembawang? as I stay in between these 2 place, dun know which centre teacher is better
Hi concerned_mum,
My child is with Teacher Priscilla Chong Pang branch for a few months. I cant commend on Sembawang branch as I went to chong pang one based on the good reviews. My child started with low interest in maths and now he looks forward to classes every week. He is definately faster than his peers when completing maths assignments in school now. He is five yrs old this yr. He came in with little confidence, every question he will need to stop and pause and wait for affirmation for his answer to be right or wrong, now his confidence is good. He writes down his answers correctly with confidence. He is able to attempt higher level of difficulty on maths problems.
I would recommend her because she is engaging, she is firm with children but not to the point of being fierce. She would always make a point to explain the maths concepts and how can the student improve to parents after every lesson. This is seldom seen in most enrichment centres. Most importantly, I do prefer local teachers with experience and education than sending my kids to outsourced \"overseas \" teachers whom credentials i dun even heard of.
I am staying in the middle of chong pang and sembawang as well. The shopping centre is certainly appealing to me but i believe getting the right teacher that bonds well and even teach well is more impt than looking for a nice place to chill while the kids study. If really need a place for a drink, chong pang has a mac donald, kfc/pizzahut, the famous chong pang hawker centre to indulge too.
Here is her contact if you like to give it a try or a call to enquire.

Always take advice here as a guide, good or not, you give it a try yourself. This is purely our experience with the Chong Pang branch.
