My husband and I cannot take the excitement of balloting, so we registered at St Gabriel's as a >2km. It's a wonderful feeling to have a confirmed place!

So if you can take risks well, by all means go to popular schools and give it a try. If you cannot take the heat just like us, maybe it's better to look elsewhere.

I have 2girls; live within 1km from st Nik, 1-2km from Aitong
I chose MCS instead and very happy with confirmed seat

now i feel better after reading your posts!

i am within 1 km to ACSJ, SJIJ, Farrer park.
and 1-2km to ACSP, HW, SGCS,St margaret, balestier pri, stamford pri.
but i chose to secure a place >5km away in P2A.
i've got many pple asking why and have started wondering if i made the right decision for my boy.

have thought of Kiddiewinkie but is kind of far (about 30mins for my son to walk) so not so convenient.

I didnt know that SJIJ Student care it has started.
Any feedback on the program so far?
do they supervise the kids to finish their homework and how is the food like?

is anyone aware if there is any good student care around the novena area?


i heard SJIJ will be having their own student care from 2015. not sure if it is true?

similar to greenjelly, also seeking advice on P1 registration for my son this year.

I am able to go Pei Chun (phase 2A2) or SJI Junior or ACS Junior, both under Phase 2B within 1 Km.

Pei Chun’s distance is a concern. i am not sure if the school bus comes to our area.
does anyone know if the P1 next year will be single session or still afternoon session?

I would prefer either SJI or ACS Junior, but base on balloting history, it looks like balloting is required for SC within 1Km. so quite risky.

now at a lost on which one to go for…
any advise?
