Thought have been reading a lot on this website since years ago, today finally registered and contributed some comments.

We have only a child - our boy is 13 years old . Interestingly, it was rare that my son complained about not having siblings.. only a few times during my brother having the 3rd girl. I guess reason being we spend a lot of time with him. From birth , TV is a restricted item. Before P4, we spent a lot of time playing board and card game, and a lot of outdoor and sports. From P4 till now, he is busier with school work, CCA and piano, so fun time has been cut down . Simple but fun time will be a few card games like Phase 10 and Big 2, even Uno.

Sometimes, I do hope that he has a sibling but guess it is fated. I also tried to find friends, but I am surrounded by friends with daughters only or with more than one kid. Even if manage to find a day play mate, it takes time to click. well , let see what i can find in this club.

For me, I use various websites.


First, tripadvisor and booking.com to narrow down a list of hotels i wanted as these have lots of reviews, hotel and surrounding descriptions. Then I use hotelclub under visa login, or search for credit cards that have special promotions for hotel booking websites, like expedia, booking.com, , agoda. Most impt, when the prices are shown, pls note whether the prices include all taxes and service charges so you can do a good comparison.
