When my maid of 5 years wanted to comeback after a 2 year break, I brought her in through direct hire. I bought her a 2 way airticket. She passed through Indo immigration, and successfully convinced them she is leaving Indo for holiday.
The issue is this: They told her she MUST return to Indo on the return flight date. The immigration officer wrote the return date in pen next to the exit stamp in the passport.
Is this a problem?
Has anyone’s maid encountered any problem with Indo immigration when they return to Indo after 2 years? I think my maid is worried she will be penalised (fine or jail or both) when she flies back 2 years later?
Has the KPIS card helped maids without agents at immigration?

RE: Really impossible to direct hire Indonesian maid?
Thankful for the detailed guidance on this thread. I’m in the process of direct hiring my maid. I bought her a 2 way ticket. She just passed through Indo immigration, and successfully convinced them she is leaving Indo for holiday.

RE: Visa woes: How to bring FDW to Italy to help on vacation?
Thanks verykisau2010, I guess now i just have to work on preparing "favourable" documents to support her visa application. I’ve read from the internet that the people at the Italian embassy here are not hospitable at all.

Visa woes: How to bring FDW to Italy to help on vacation?
Am bringing my 3 young boys to Italy to ski at the end of the year. In order to have an extra pair of hands and eyes to watch them and help with luggages, I want to bring my Indo helper.
But Italian embassy says they do not have a visa that caters to "temporary subordinate work under a temporary resident" in Italy. So I guess I have to try my luck with a tourist visa for her. BUT she can only apply for a tourist visa not more than 3 months before travel. In the meantime, I’m worried air tickets would be sold out by then…
Anyone applied Italian visa for their Indo FDW before?? Is approval rate high? -

Oh dear, why can’t I even locate "child announcement"?? Which section of the page is it? This is in the student’s portal right? Not parent’s portal?

RE: Tao Nan
I’ve been trying to locate the Pri 3 class allocation in the Edulearn portal, but I don’t see it. Logged in successfully, but don’t see any messages/announcements regarding this. Can someone provide a simple guide?

RE: Tao Nan
I told my son beforehand to go into the canteen and ask an adult where the wushu class was to meet. The moment he reached the top of the stairs at Gate C, he asked a young man, and it so happened that man was one of the wushu instructors. (or so he told my son). So he was there to gather a few arriving newbies to bring them into the canteen where they were suppose to assemble.
According to my son, who tends to leave out chunks of info, there wasn’t anyone helping him during lunch. The wushu kids were led to the canteen, bought their own food and (at least for my son and his classmates) went to sit and eat at their class tables.
Well done kiddo! -
RE: Tao Nan
OOH! i just received an sms to confirm my son's wushu class... and (!) they've assured that volunteers from PSG will assist the children to their lunch after training!
Hurray PSG! :rahrah: -
RE: Tao Nan
I’m just worried he might end up playing and forget about lunch, or not buying a proper lunch like noodles or rice and only eat seaweed or chips.
Just exploring my options… I’ve signed up and paid up anyway…
