@stickyz: Yup! The carbon dioxide one. I put the option which has everything but the substances. Sighhhh about 10 marks gone if all the questions discussed here are wrong.

I just want to clarify with all of you, is it true that there is more weightage on English and Chinese? My friends and their mummies say that English+Chinese=200%, Science is 50% and Maths is 50% as well…

Oh yes, I want to ask about question: ‘Which set-up should he use as a control’
      What did you put?

      Intermezzo:
DD says paper was ok.. she had about 30 min left for checking..

For the Shadow question her answer is Circle, because the size of the steel ball is larger than the square cardboard (according to the diagram).. she also says the same thing as some others here : If you just draw lines on the diagram, you can see.

For the Photosynthesis question her answer is Lack of carbon dioxide. According to her, the plant is placed IN water, so there should not be a lack of water.
Plants do give out carbon dioxide during respiration, but the amount of CO2 they take in for Photosynthesis is much larger than what they emit during respiration.

just hope she's got the right answers ~

*dances ecstatically* YES! Someone posts something that I am thinking of! :))

To all of you who say the science paper is easy, good for you.

But I think Booklet A is tricky while Booklet B is hard. Am I the only one here..? 😞
I put my answer as 'square' and carbon dioxide for the other question. Can I ask for your answers about the 'force of gravity' question? Is it the same through-out or different?

‘gai bian’ is a verb which is neutral, therefore its proper use depends on the sentence structure. In the question, it was mentioned ’ the smile ’ …then 两个朋友之间不愉快的心情, meaning the the proper verb should one which has positive impact to the unhappiness.

In that case, ’ xiao chu’ which means eliminate is proper.

      Hello everyone!

Newbie and a p6 here. Is this a site for mummies only? Can students also join in?
I put the laopopo option for the 'zhen chang', and the winning a medal made 'biao ge' happy he cried option for the 'ji dong' one. I hope you can understand lol!

      welcome to join us 😄
But u teenages use a lot of short form words we auntie catch no ball leh 😂

Oh, rest assured! I won't use those phrases teenages often use. I believe in speaking complete English as I am afraid speaking like them would affect my word usage of English. Correct me if I'm wrong too! Oh, and what does 'catch no ball' mean?
