DS scored 240, so quite limited in terms of choices-

1) Should I put SJI (COP=245, 'O' Levels track) or Anderson (COP=246); either of them possible to get in?
2) Zhonghua (COP=233)
3) Xinmin (COP=234)
4-6) Still undecided as not sure which schools are ok around NE area

I feel Zhonghua & Xin Min is a \"safe\" net. Hence I feel can put SJI and Anderson as your 1st and 2nd choice.

You may want to consider Nan Chiau at Sengkang too. Last year COP is 240.

I strongly advise to put Nan Chiau as yr 3rd choice. This is a much better sch than xinmin n zhong hua

I would suggest option 1 and 4. It advisable to go for the open hse or give them a ring before u decide which one to choose. I do receive some good feedback on hougang sec.

My daughter t score is 215 . She didn't score well in Maths( C), although Prelims was A*. She was expecting at least A in Maths. We are staying in Tiong Bahru, so she still can get express in Queensway Sec.


On one hand I am thinking of appeal and requesting review for Maths, on other hand I am also thinking whether she should repeat PSLE.
Do you think its better to repeat ?

Why do u want yr dd to waste one more year to repeat her psle even she can score additional 15 points or so? Does it make alot of diff? Move ahead and concentrate on her sec. This is a much wiser choice.
