My son is same class as your daughter in 1B. He told me his chinese teacher has been changed from \"ye lao shi\" to \"fu lao shi\".

I think the reason they change class is now they split the children into 2 group - normal chinese and higher chinese... just my guessing.

I will go back and ask my son.

Yes, for Unity they only offer normal chinese. My comments were just my guessing. I attended a briefing on MT in early Term 2, they mentioned about spliting class in second half of the year something like that. May be I heard wrongly. Do you have the email address for the MT teacher? So far I have not written any email to the teacher. Usually I will call the teacher straight.

If you signing up the 5 day camp, they will do yoga and some educational board games in the morning and in the afternoon; they will teach them to do art/craft and baking. my son had a fruitful week and he told me he liked it so much.

Yes, my son enjoyed the camp very much and asked me to sign him up for his Sep holiday.

I am not sure. The school did not inform me about the screening test. She will be joining the school this wed.
Does the children have spelling and \"ting xie\" every week?
Does the school require the children to subscribe to \"Hao Peng You\" and National Geographic magazine? My girl currently subscribed to both the magazine, I wonder whether it can be transfer to Unity?

Who know your daughter will be in the same class as my son. Are you staying nearby Unity?

Yes, they have spelling every week for english, math test every week and han yu pinyin test every fortnightly. Yes, the school require the children to subscribe hao peng you but not National Geographic magazine.


by the way, your question on PE attires. I bought 2 sets for my son cos they got 2 PE lesson every week.
