Also, I heard that the girls will be allowed to wear PE attire or House T-shirt throughout the week, except on the day when assembly is held. Will this be a permanent arrangement?

Although the school selection for GEP is long over, would just like to say that I agree with the above comments on SHPS GEP. My DD graduated from SHPS 2 years ago. GEP at SHPS had been a wonderful learning journey. Quite a number of the GE teachers are very passionate in teaching and could really engaged the students well. In addition, the GE Dept is very forward looking. They had long started the students on use of technologies since P4. By the time they reached P5, all the students were very hands-on with their notebooks, doing various collaboration work and project work online.
Glad that your child has made a wise choice chosing SHPS. My DS is in SHPS P6/8 this year. There will only be 1 GEP class in SHPS with about 25 - 26 students.Bobochacha:
Hi, I am thinking of sending my DS to St Hilda’s GEP programme. Would appreciate if any parents can share their child’s experience in this programme at St Hilda’s. Thanks!
SHPS is a fantastic school and my son has no regret in choosing that school. The teachers are very professional, diligent, caring and strict. They not only impart academic knowledge, they always instill moral value too. I have seen my DS grows from a young cheeky boy to a grown up teen. Rest assure that your child is good hands in SHPS. Enjoy the journey in GE - challenging yet fulfilling! -

In the RGS CO (subject domain), they only mentioned that student need to attain the minimum point required to qualify for express stream. No special condition. So far it looks like only RI sets an additional requirement of 26x PSLE score before the DSA seat is really given to the child.
What about RGS? Does anybody know? -
RE: Is your child happier in GEP school or his/her old school?
Didn’t change school, but definitely much much happier in GEP than she was in P1 to P3. Enjoyed the curriculum (though it came with a heavier workload and tougher exams)!

May I know where things like socks, name tags (if there's any), badges can be bought? Is it at the uniform shop?
No special socks (just normal white ones are OK).
Name tags - order at the school book shop. Make sure you get the right colour as each year has a different colour.
