Dear QMS,
Actually, i’m staying near Causeway point this area.
Any idea other than Woodlands Primary, what are the better schools less than 1km?

RE: [Woodlands] Primary Schools
Dear all,
like to check if anyone has any information on Woodlands Primary School?
I realised its not as popular so does it mean I don have to be PV for my son?

vintlay:
Last year no balloting within 1 km in WGPS. Think because many of them choose Innova Pri because of Morning session. Hope this help.
Hi vintlay,
thanks for information, actually i also prefer morning sessions primary school.
other than innova, any other primary schools in woodlands offer morning sessions for primary 1? -

hi capricorn,Hi wen2gal
They have good CCA activities. I have friends whose kids are in P1 this year and their children have feedback that it is fun to go to school. Guess it is not stressful at the moment. Please bear in mind as they progress to Upper Primary there will more emphasis on academics.
Cheers.
thanks for ur prompt response.
can i check with you... for woodgrove, will there be any balloting required if we live within 1 km?
actually, my nearest school is woodlands primary, but i heard that woodgrove is quite a popular choice as well.. -

all.in.one:
hi A.I.O,
Hi Sharon,
Have you read all the pages in this thread? My comments on Woodlands
Primary are all in there. I hope the rest of the parents in this network
can provide more feedback on the school. Then you will have a better
picture... :grphug: Do you have any specific concerns or what you are
looking in the ideal school for your girl? Are you staying within 1km from
Woodlands Primary? If yes, likely to be able to get in without becoming
PV if you have no time.
wow.. u really have a lot of information on the school, i have been trying so much time to get information on woodlands primary sch, seems like i come to the right thread. lol, i'm staying just 3 blks away from woodlands primary, should have no problem getting in if i don do PV rite? My son will be going Pri 1 in 2011.
