If your child didn’t get the GPA, she will get the EMA of $80 popular voucher. I was told because GPA has a monetary reward to it already, so the CDC-CCC will not award the EMA as a token.

      Note:
EMB = Edusave merit bursary (have to meet the income eligibility)
EMA = Education merit award (awarded to child if income exceeded, by CDC-CCC )
Thanks!! Got it now! Thank you so much! 😁

If you meet the income eligibility, your child will still receive the EMB, along with the GPA. If your household income exceeded it, then your child will not receive the EMB/EMA, as she has received the GPA. I know this sounds weird, but it’s how it works apparently. My child was in the same situation a few years ago.
Quite likely we probably didn't meet the household income. 😳Thought might still have the chance coz past years when she didn't get GPA, she was able to get the EMB cert and $80 popular voucher.

Hi, just checking, my DD had received the EMB letter in early Dec and received the GPA letter in mid Dec. Today we received the letter inviting us to the ceremony for GPA. Does that mean that if she has gotten the GPA, she won’t get the EMB? Thank you!

Hi, my girl will be entering the school next year. Anyone here knows how's the student care in the school?

there is one at Blk 172, The Kidz Club ... is good ! my kids are there, there a few IJ girls there, the student care pick up the girls from school.

I don't even remember when is my kids spelling and tingxie ... the student care take care of all these .... and my kids can get full marks most time, without me revising with them. The student care actually tuition the kids ... test paper etc...
If you kid is a fast leaner, they do accommodate to teach more or at higher level ... my P3 is good in math.. he told me the teacher give him P4 and even P5 worksheet to do.

and during school holiday, they organize many activities, outing, community work etc ...

Great! Thank you! Do you stay in Toa Payoh? I am thinking if I should choose a student care nearer my home or near school.
