Hi Fushiav,
If you are referring to Chinese, Sota has their own notes. No text book needed. As for the level of chinese, school will let each student know by the end of term 1 whether or not they will be taking standard level or higher level Chinese.
However, if you are referring to Higher Chinese as per mainstream, you will have to join another Secondary school outside curriculum time. You will be given a list of Sec schools to choose from.

The scholarship subsides 50%-100%, based on your income. To renew it every year, you have to be in the top 70% for both art form and acads at the end of each year
