It's largely open space, so the only crowd you might have to contend with is when you're buying tickets. Otherwise, the whole place caters to a younger crowd as compared to USS. Lots of kiddy rides, and there are really only 2 sort-of extreme sections for tweens, teens and adults to explore, otherwise it's a good starting place to introduce toddlers, preschoolers to the wonderful world of theme-parkery. Just remember to bring sunblock for your kids. It's burning there if you go on a sunny day.
You can read my review of it here (also got lots of pics):

RE: All About Grooming & Encouraging Good Reading Habits
There's a mass reading event for parents (particularly dads) and kids at the National Library this Sunday:

It's not an instructional event, but I feel having the child witness parents engaging in an active reading environment might instill some ideas for them to pick up the habit too

RE: Club Super Daddies
Hi everyone!
I'm a father of one son (Dec 2008), and a full-time writer trying to eke out a living. You might know me from Blogfathers! SG (http://blogfathers.sg) or the letters I write to my son (Dear Xander; http://dear.xander.sg).
I've cycled on occasion, will take you seriously when you ask me go fly kite (I'll bring my son along, too), and most importantly, I am a father and a husband before all else.
