    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Math

Hi all, can someone help on this question ? Thanks in advance.

Town A and Town B are 600 km apart. At 4 pm, Zul left Town A for Town B, travelling at a uniform speed. At the same time, Hanson left Town B for Town A travelling at a uniform speed which was 18km/h faster than Zul. Find the average speed for Zul if the two men met at 7 pm.

Hi all, can someone help on this question ? Thanks in advance.

Gavin has 106 pieces of $5 notes and $10 notes. He used 2/3 of the $10 notes and put in another six $5 notes. As a result, the number of $5 notes was fives times the number of $10 notes. What was the total value of the $5 notes Gavin have at first ?

    • RE: 2011 PSLE Results Day 24 Nov

I would think both parents should be there preferably, to support and be with the kids, regardless of results outcome. It’s an important day and milestone, first important national examination and only once in their lifetime, for their PSLE kids. It’s the presence that the kids will care and will most slightly remember like some of you have experienced and remembered, who were there or not there.

Though my DS has expressed that he will not wish my presence,as he may feel pressurized. I will respect him views and wishes. Most slightly will stand outside school (being a gan cheongsam dad) till he comes out with his results.

      Hi,

I would like to seek some help, with thanks, on the below question.

1/3 of circle A is shaded and 3/7 of circle B is shaded. The ratio of the total area of circles A & B to the area of circle C is 5 : 8. What fraction of circle C is not shaded ?

      Thank you!
Sorry. Still couldn't figure that out. Appreciate very much on the solution. Thank you very much.
