    • RE: 不知不觉爱上华文

Let’s get back to the olden days when we write letters to pen pals and mail to them. Through letter writing, not only your child gets to practice Chinese Language in a fun and engaging way, but also develops the love and interest in Chinese Language. PM me, I will start writing to your child first. Do act fast, in case I run out of stamps. My previous penpal project had always been overwhelming. I’m currently back in SG for summer vacation and would like to continue to work on this pen pal project. Thank you!

Oh, so sad to heard that Anderson’s Sports/IT/Music classes has been abolished. I like the idea of having those classes.

    • RE: Express or Normal Academic

I think it’s better to go to a good school with good environment and take up NA course instead. Look at the big picture. What if the child cannot catch up in Express, failed a lot of subject and get demoralised… If it takes an extra year to build up the Sec one foundation in NA course and at the same time builds up the child’s confidence and learning interest, why not?

Being a small school, Da Qiao’s class size for P1 & P2 is less than 25 in a class. The pros is your child will be well taken care in a small class, which the teachers really knows your child well.

You can try St Nicks, if you want your daughter to grow up in the princesses environment. Most of them are from rich families, pampered and too girlish. Parents will have to donate a lot of money to the school every year. English speaking environment.

Also heard that Da Qiao has got caring teachers and their extra efforts to help weaker students and special needs students. Chinese speaking environment.
