I am shifting in to my parent’s hse which is within 1km of my preferred sch. We will be changing the address on our ICs. Any idea if there’s a cut off date as to how long we have to be staying at the new address in order to qualify for phase 2c (within 1km)? Btw, registration of primary sch for my child will be in july 2015.

Dun worry, kids need to be discipline, else no big no small.My DS graduated last year(2013), I have no complaint about the teachers, they often called my wife to updated us when my DS dun behave.

My neighbour's ds (ex-victorian) recommended this route home: Bus no. 31, 196 or 197 from vs to bedok mrt station. Take train to tampines mrt stn. Transfer to bus no. 27 outside the station. The bus will turn in to sk after tpe.

In case you aren't aware, student fare is capped at $0.58 per trip, disregarding the number of changes for bus/mrt/lrt.

Its really torturous waiting for the appeal results. Every second seems like an hour. I know every school is a good school and a good student can thrive in any environment. How I wish my heart n mind can go together.My mind asks for my dd to settle in the posted school but my heart wishes for the appeal to go through....All 3 schls are asking to wait till nxt wk n now have to wait for the wknd to trickle past......arrghh!!...

My ds' face was beaming when he related his first day in school too & he is also looking forward to the badge pinning ceremony today & the overnite camp in week 3.

I remember someone posted the travel time from sengkang to vs is about 1.5hrs. But in fact, it's only a 50min ride (including waiting & changing time) by public transport if you are residing near tpe in sengkang.
