Also depends on the number of classes each language has. Think Spanish is the least places, so in the end might be most competitive
I guess in terms of popularity, Japanese is first followed by French, German and lastly Spanish?
Previously shared this 3rd language webinar a bunch of current students organise annually. U can sign up to find out more. Think they manage to get a NUS prof to give a talk this year -

Saw sharing in other channel, in case anyone interested. Ctrl v content below
Received this from my DD's parent support group - I think this is their second time this year, they are covering the 4 foreign languages at MOELC (French Jpn Spanish German). Sharing in case anyone is interested. Thought it was quite good last year, it's free.

Yup, I think having only few days to make that decision is not easy. Esp when one has to make it while deciding on the Sec school which is a headache in itself. So just hoping to get as much info as possible. Do hope that if such a webinar does exist they can open it to the non GEP too.yangshixin\" post_id=\"2042071\" time=\"1634092183\" user_id=\"195344:It is actually a fantastic idea to have seniors to share their experience. We didn’t have that, my child picked whatever interested her at that time, some would go along with their friends. and so, we faced quite a bit of “hardship” in that the language was taught at an extremely fast pace. It’s like some of the children were either native speakers/someone at home is a native speaker or they had learnt it during their pri sch years. It’s hard to keep up with.

Dear parents. Been struggling to find more information about 3rd language to make an informed choice. was hoping the authorities can provide more support in this area. Heard some rumours about some sort of 3rd language choosing webinar for GEP students by their seniors. If anyone know any information like the time or link would appreciate if you can share. Thanks.
