Does anyone know how the HCL +1, +2, +3 work?

eg, if a school cut off is 248. A child will be admitted with 247+2?

Yes, if it is a SAP school.

      Thanks!

    • RE: Secondary School Selection 2012

My DS scored 244. Initially, we wanted to apply for SJI (cut off 242) as first choice. However, after going to Maris Stella High (cut off 232) yesterday, we were impressed by the school facilities and programme. Moreover, MS High is nearer.

Anyone has any views about SJI and whose children are there.
Is the learning experience positive? Any idea if CCA can be opted as a subject just like what MS High offers. I noted that they dont offer basketball as CCA but does SJI have a basketball court?

    • RE: Anderson Secondary School

      PSLEmom:
I am glad that I put my DS in Anderson. They aim for overall development of the students instead of just focusing at their scores. The teachers are friendly according to my DS. He has just completed the Sec 1 ...not sure of the stress levels in the next 3 years. But overall we are satisfied with the school

      Hi PSLEmom,
can you advise whether Anderson provides ample opportunities for the students for CCA. My DS is keen on Anderson but I'm concerned whether
there is good variety and development of the students in the CCA area :boogie:
