Anyone went for DHS second round intv today? My DD said there were around 40+ students today? Seems like all of the second-rounds were done today? Anyone heard of further interviews on subsequent days after today? Given dhs cohort of just over 300, 40+ is only about 15%? Seems quite low?

My DD attended the 2:15pm session, I saw the name list on page 1 there is 60 students, that is not including the second page and there is another session at 3:00pm. I do not know in total how many were invited for the interview but I am very sure it is more than 40+ .

My DD is trained in Gymnastics and Chinese Dance, she’s keen to DSA via RG or Dance to SNGS which they offering IP track and O level track. If I select SNGS RG and Dance under IP, will they offer her O Lvl? Main intention is get into the school, it doesn’t matter IP or O level, is it advisable to apply via O level instead to have better chance? I can’t be filling in all 3 choices for SNGS as DD also wants to try her luck in RGS (via RG) and Dunman High (via Chinese Dance). Any parents here have experience to share?

Can anyone share their experience with DSA dance for SCGS, Crescent Girls and Anglican high? What is the chance of getting chosen, what are the preparation work needed?

Anglican High only have modern dance for DSA right? I wonder if modern dance is similar to street dance or hip hop. My girl only interested in Chinese Dance, and she is eyeing to enter AHS via DSA. SCGS only take in girls who did very well in Ballet.

My maid’s is going to fulfil her 2 years contract with me in July 2019, she intend to renew further 2 years contract with me but does not want to return to Indon during the 2 weeks home leaves. She request to replace her 2 weeks Home Leaves with holiday in KL. She said her cousin and husband (both Indon holding work permit) are working in KL and co-rented an apt in KL with friends. Her cousin offer her to stay with her during her 2 weeks home leaves. My helper is single, 30 years old, only have a mother and younger bro back at home, I asked why she don’t want to go home to pay her mom a visit, she said her mother will not let her return to Sg for work, prefer her to work in Indon. Before she worked for me, she has a boyfriend in Indon who is now working in East Malaysia, but she did not request for flight ticket to East Malaysia to visit bf, only ask me to buy her ticket to KL and allow her to spend her 2 weeks home leaves there. My family is happy with her work and attitudes and the kids does not want to change helper, so my intention is to keep her, kindly share your experience if you come across this situation.


My concern is,
1. Is it safe for a single Muslim lady to stay in KL, if I’m not wrong, it is illegal for them to stay with other man under one roof due to their religion.
2. Is it ok not to let her go back after 2 years contract? will I be penaltise by MOM or Indon Govt since this is stated in the contract?
3. I have to renew her work permit before she left for holiday, what if she perform illegal activities in KL (example work part time), I am her employer, will I get into trouble?

I am comparing math and science tuition for lower sec from Just Edu in Pasir Ris vs MS in Tampines. Anyone has experience sending their child to these center? Please share your feedbank, thank you!
