My son told me that last week he put $1 into the vending machine to buy a drink at recess and one of the P5 boys came up behind him and took the 20c change. My son told him that it was his and he replied \"no it's mine\" and walked off.

Has anyone else's son had the same experience. I told my son to try to look at his name badge next time but I haven't reported to the teacher yet.

wow a real case of bullying.... can feedback to the school though not much use as we do not know who the bully is.

why don't you get your boy to drink plain water from his water bottle instead? healthier too.

Hi does anyone know what who is the supplier or company (with contacts) that had "exhibition" and sale of Chinese story books in the school few days back? They usually have tables with books on display, outside the school general office.

I would like to know if the teacher-meet-parent session is once a year during mid-year?

Do you get to meet all the subject teachers involved?

My son is primary 1 this year. There are 3 different teachers for English, Chinese and Maths. The form teacher and co-form teacher each met 16 parents.

We met the form teacher (English) but did not have the chance to meet the Chinese and Maths teacher. Is that a norm at Maris Stella, or is that only for my son’s class?

$2 is definitely enough for recess for lower primary . Provided the boy does not buy drinks. There many water coolers all over the Sch.
My DS has a classmate whom receives $5 pocket money a day. So guess what ???? The boy eats the usual food $1-$2, buys a bottle of drink $1, buys a big pkt of potato chips $1.50 :yikes: :scared:
