Unfortunately, I called to ask if there would be any balloting, and which distance range would it be, and they were not willing to divulge the information. šŸ˜ž

This is just ridiculous, must feedback to MOE or MP....what is the purpose of hiding the data and cause unnecessary stress to parents ..

6 August 2020, 4.30 pm, was the last day of Phase 2C of P1 registration

the next day, 7 August, after Phase 2C was entirely over, closed, called up the school to inquire, which distance range (for SC) entered balloting ? RGPS admin replied, \"we don't have the data\"
This year is different. I was told that many parents double registered using the online form and did not withdraw from the school they registered earlier. Hence many schools are waiting for MOE to confirm the list of students for them.

What are chance of PR getting in for 2021 P1 year for phase 2c?
School is balloting for PR outside 2km right now. Suspect it will eventually be like last year, balloting for citizens >2km

Yes, it is sad, my house to nan yang is 700 m, too bad.

I also wonder, queentown and Newtown are so close to each other, why Newtown's take up rate is so low as compared to Queentown. Is Newtown really that unpopular?
A lot of new hdb and condo near Queenstown mrt that's why. New town is not a bad school. There are a number of improvements after the new principal took over last year. She's from Anderson primary school and previously vice principal of Temasek Secondary. It's a good and safe backup plan.
