IFF, I didn’t go to DD’ s school when she collected her results 2 years ago. She didn’t allow me to go. All I did was to wait for her to text me her grades. Very nerve wrecking n I hv to go through one more time next month.

If I remember correctly what DS told me, PW shld end by mid or early Nov when A level exams start. But no worries, I am sure your DS can handle it well. I was worried for my DS when he was in the midst of it but luckily, he got very co operative group members n PW didn’t take up much of his time.
Surprisingly, PW was his least concern.

Being a first time JC parent, I need advice.

Assuming the posting is release on 1st Feb, we need to report to school on 2nd Feb and my questions are :
* Do we need to follow our dc?
* Are we expected to purchase the books and uniform on the day itself?
* Do they start school the following week?
* How much are we advised to bring? - for uniform and books?
* Any suggestions on the number of set of uniform & PE attire that we need to purchase ?
* Are JCs stringent on school shoes/ socks so far?

Hi, like to add my inputs based on my past experience -

You don’t need to follow yr DC to school.
I don’t recall my kid buying books on 1st day, only uniforms.
2 sets of uniforms n PE attire shld be enuf.
To be on safe side, perhaps bring $100 to buy uniforms n PE attire.

Won’t it be better to try Nan Hua first n CCHMS 2nd?
